    Little Discoverers

    We put parents at the forefront of their child's learning and development and acknowledge that parents know their child best. We promote a three-way relationship between parent, child and specially trained Little Discoverers staff, to help each child's potential. We rely on donations to be able to provide our sessions to families free of charge.

    The Benjamin Foundation

    For over 25 years’ children, young people and families across Norfolk and Suffolk have been supported by The Benjamin Foundation to overcome big challenges in their lives. Each night we accommodate 100 vulnerable young people, equating to over 40,000 safe nights sleep a year for local young people. They can finally feel safe from youth homelessness. We are proud to be the regional partner for the End Youth Homelessness campaign.

    Nelson’s Journey

    Nelson’s Journey supports children and young people in Norfolk who’ve experienced the death of a significant person. We provide a range of resources and services, and accept referrals from families and professionals for those who may need our support. Since 1997, Nelson’s Journey has helped thousands of bereaved children and young people in the county. It is thanks to the tremendous support of our local community that our work is possible.

    GYGYC

    GYGYC is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation, our objective is to offer relief for young people who are caring for a parent or supporting a parent caring for a sibling, who otherwise would miss out on the normal transitional years of adolescence, in particular but not exclusively by, providing support to relieve the stresses experienced by young carers and offering respite, fun and learning opportunities which they may otherwise not be able to access. We deliver this through peer support groups and one to one mentoring programmes and holiday activities.

    The Purfleet Trust

    The Purfleet Trust (registered charity number 1037276) is a local charity that supports those that are either homeless, or vulnerable housed, within the King's Lynn & West Norfolk area. We acknowledge that homelessness is something that can happen to anyone and we are committed to developing opportunities to work with our clients to improve their life chances. We believe that everyone has the right to live in a decent, suitable and affordable homes, and should have access to services that support and enable them to live independently.

    Priscilla Bacon Hospice

    We need £12.5 million to build a new 24 bed hospice for Norfolk. We've raised over £8.4m of our target, allowing us to break ground in 2021, but we still need your help to build the desperately needed new hospice for the people of Norfolk and Waveney.

    Big C

    Every year more than 8000 people in Norfolk and Waveney are told the news that they have cancer, and many more are living with the effects every day. Since 1980 Big C has been dedicated to the fight against cancer and today we help the thousands of people affected, across our county, while working to improve future outcomes. Our work focuses on four key areas - supporting people affected by cancer, funding world-class local research into cancer, providing vital medical equipment and facilities in the county’s main hospitals and educating local people about cancer for the future.

    We support the mental health of the rural community across Norfolk by providing a Helpline for those that are struggling. Additionally we run Mental Health First Aid courses to teach people how to support their friends, colleagues and clients.
